Would You Consider Parenting?
When you first learned about your unplanned pregnancy and the reality started sinking in, did you think about the possibility of parenting?
It may have crossed your mind briefly, but then you think about telling your parents and family. You worry about the lack of money and your shaky relationship with the father.
Just because your pregnancy is unplanned, it doesn’t mean parenting is impossible. You might be surprised at the many resources available here at Hope’s Choice and in our community.
Start by asking yourself a few questions:
- Will I have the support of my parents or partner?
- Where will I live?
- How will I afford to parent?
- Can I complete my education?
- Can I continue my career?
- How can I get medical coverage?
